Lifelines, curated by Natalie Wood and Mila Natasha Mendez, presents artwork by the inaugural cohort of the Black Arts Fellowship, including Taymah Armatrading, Natasha “Courage” Bacchus, Sarah Barrable-Tishauer/DJ Me Time, Stina Baudin, Janine Carrington, Abi Cudjoe, Danilo Deluxo, Elicser Elliot, Haui aka Howard J Davis  and Aisha Lesley Bentham.

Their work, spanning painting, textile, writing, performance, video, and interactive media, intervenes across the newly renovated Wildseed Centre. Centering questions of beauty, care and abolition, provocations brings imaginations of new worlds intended to make the revolution irresistible.

The opening reception date will be announced in Fall of 2023.
