Liberation Library aims to advance public education by providing tangible literary resources to the community. In this space you can access free literary resources and programs by Black authors on a variety of subjects—including but not limited to—Black histories, experiences, liberation, abolition, and art.

Books can be enjoyed in this space, or borrowed for 3 weeks with the option to renew by contacting our inventory administrator via email at

Our resource offerings are updated bi-annually; if there are any titles you would like to see us carry, please contact us with your recommendations. We also encourage you to visit our friends at A DifferentBooklist, who host a large inventory of Black-centered literary resources to continue your learning and exploration.
